Akiva P. Novetsky, MD, MS

Dr. Akiva Novetsky is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist at Westchester Medical Center and New York Medical College, where he serves as the Associate Chair for Quality and Safety and the Director of Quality and Safety for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Novetsky’s work is focused on the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer. He serves as the head of quality assurance for the NIH international moonshot focusing on developing new technologies to screen for cervical cancer. Dr. Novetsky is passionate about improving the care of underserved populations through the development of new technologies that will reduce the burden to the patients and improve access to screening.
