Our Standing Committees

The ACS NRTCC’s work is made possible through the support of member-staffed standing committees: the Membership Committee, the Nominating Committee, and a cross-roundtable Bylaws Committee. Read on to learn about their roles in supporting our work.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee’s purpose is to meet quarterly to review applications for membership to the roundtable and prepare recommendations for the Steering Committee. The Membership Committee evaluates the merits of incoming membership applications and makes formal recommendations on membership approval/denial, membership category, and elevates any other pertinent information or questions for the Steering Committee to consider in final approval decisions.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee meets yearly (or as needed) to prepare a slate of candidates for both Steering Committee membership and the roundtable’s Executive Leadership Team. The Nominating Committee evaluates the merits of nominees, makes formal recommendations for Steering Committee membership and Executive Leadership Team positions, and elevates any other pertinent information or questions for the Steering Committee to consider in final approval decisions.
