
Amy Wiser, MD, FAAFP, IBCLC
Dr. Amy Wiser (she/her) is a family medicine physician in Portland, Oregon. She completed her undergraduate studies at Penn State University and earned her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. After graduating from family medicine residency training in Pennsylvania, she completed her OB Fellowship through University of Washington in Spokane. Dr. Wiser started her career as a full scope family physician in rural Oregon. She has also held faculty appointment at Oregon Health & Sciences University, was one of few family medicine physicians in the nation to hold operative privileges at a university hospital and continues to teach at OHSU School of Medicine. In 2022, Dr. Wiser joined Cascade AIDS Project (CAP) and practices at PRISM Health, CAP’s primary care clinic focusing on LGBTQIA+ population health and HIV treatment in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Wiser’s clinical and research passions include LGBTQ+ care, family planning, as well as HPV and cervical cancer screening and prevention. She is on the ASCCP Board of Directors, has served as Director of the Comprehensive Colposcopy CME course and has contributed to the 2019 ASCCP Risk Based Management Consensus Guidelines. She is also a member of the ACS Cervical Cancer Screening Implementation workgroup.
